The Prodigy FX-2 is a fast, overstable fairway driver designed for power and reliability in all wind conditions. Developed in collaboration with two-time Disc Golf Pro Tour Champion Chris Dickerson, it was created to bridge the gap between Prodigy's Fairway (F) and Hybrid (H) series.

The FX-2 features a distinct profile tailored to professional preferences:

• Grip: Designed to be comfortable for both backhand and sidearm (forehand) throwers.
• Unique Texture: Some runs feature a dual-texture feel, with a glossy top and a "matte" or "unfinished" bottom rim for improved grip in wet or adverse weather.
• Rim Profile: It has a relatively deep and angular rim. 

In terms of flight and utility, players often compare the FX-2 to other overstable fairway drivers like the Innova Firebird, Discraft Raptor, or Dynamic Discs Felon, though users often note the FX-2 has slightly more glide.
