The Prodigy F1 is an overstable fairway driver designed to be the most reliable and wind-resistant disc in Prodigy's "F" series. For a new player, it is often described as a "meathook"—a disc that will start hooking to the left (for a right-handed backhand throw) almost immediately after leaving your hand.

• Stability: It is "significantly overstable," meaning it resists turning over even in heavy headwinds.
• Purpose: Experienced players use it for predictable control shots, utility "skip" shots, and overhand throws like thumbers or tomahawks.
• Beginner Friendliness: It is generally not recommended as a first driver for beginners because it requires high arm speed to fly straight. Without enough power, it will "dump" out of the air early, resulting in very short distances.
