The MVP Matrix has been discontinued. It was taken out of production around 2020 to be replaced by the MVP Reactor.
Reason for discontinuation
The Matrix was an older midrange mold that shared its core with other discontinued discs like the Tensor. When MVP revamped its midrange lineup in 2020, it introduced a new mold core for discs like the Reactor and Pyro, which superseded the Matrix.
The "MVP Matrix" refers to a moderately overstable, precision midrange disc golf disc known for its reliable and predictable flight, resisting turn with a dependable fade at the end of its flight. It holds different lines from hyzer to anhyzer, is comfortable to throw both forehand and backhand, and is available in various plastics like Neutron and Proton.
