The Innova Avatar is a stable-to-overstable, overmold midrange disc known for its straight flight with a moderate, dependable fade. Innova designed the Avatar by combining features from some of its other popular midranges, like the Lion, Atlas, and Roc3.

• Controlled and straight flight: When thrown with moderate power on a straight release, the Avatar resists high-speed turn and flies straight before its moderate fade kicks in. This makes it an excellent "point and shoot" midrange for controlled approach shots and tunnel lines.
• Reliable fade: The disc features a moderate, forward-pushing fade that pulls it predictably toward the target without a harsh "dump" at the end of its flight.
• Torque resistance: More skilled players can throw the Avatar with higher power and a slight hyzer angle for a perfectly straight shot. It handles torque well, especially with backhand throws.
• Shot versatility: The Avatar is versatile enough for many different shots, including straight approaches, subtle hyzer flips, and forehand upshots. While some players don't prefer it for forehands due to its resistance to off-axis torque (OAT), others report success with these lines.
• Beginner-friendly: For newer players with slower arm speeds, the Avatar offers a stable flight with a consistent finish, which helps them develop a clean release.
