The Discraft Stratus is a very understable midrange disc specifically designed to be easy to throw for beginners. It is one of the most beginner-friendly discs in the Discraft lineup because it resists the "hard left" fade that many new players struggle with.

Best Used For

• Beginner Distance: Helps new players achieve straight, long flights before they develop high arm speed.
• Turnover Shots: Experienced players use it for "anhyzer" shots where the disc needs to curve right and never come back.
• Roller Shots: Because it is so understable, it is an excellent choice for learning to throw "rollers" where the disc lands on its edge and rolls along the ground.
