Discmania Control Driver 9|5|-1|2

The Discmania CD2 (Control Driver 2) is a versatile speed 9 fairway driver often described as a "broken-in" version of the popular Discmania PD. It is known for its incredible glide and its ability to hold straight lines with a reliable, gentle finish, making it a favorite for "wooded lines" and technical distance shots.

• Versatility: It is highly shapeable, capable of holding hyzer-flips to flat for "tunnel-shot perfection" or navigating tight flex lines in the woods.
• Skill Level: While stable enough to handle moderate headwinds for advanced players, its natural turn and high glide make it an excellent choice for intermediate players stepping up to faster drivers
• Profile: The original CD2 (manufactured by Innova) has a relatively shallow rim with a flat underside, making it comfortable for both backhand and forehand grips

The original CD2 is out of production as of the split between Discmania and Innova. However, it has been officially "reinvented" as a new mold: CD1

• Discmania CD1: The modern replacement for the CD2 slot. While they share flight numbers, the modern CD1 (especially in C-Line) is reported to be slightly more overstable and have a deeper feel compared to the old CD2.
