The Dino Discs Allosaurus is a disc golf distance driver designed for young players and beginners with slower arm speeds. It was added to the Dino Discs lineup in the summer of 2023.

• Flight numbers: Speed 12, Glide 6, Turn -3, Fade 1.
• Weight: Ultra-lightweight, typically ranging from 120-130 grams (although some sources state 130-140g). The maximum weight is 138g.
• Plastic: Primarily available in Egg Shell plastic, a grippy, semi-firm blend with fun decorative effects like splatters, swirls, and sparkles. Some versions may also glow in the dark or change color in sunlight. Older versions were made in Feather plastic.
• Flight Path: Understable with high glide and a gentle turnover, making it easier for players with slower arm speeds to achieve distance. It resists early fade and finishes with only a slight end-fade.
• Target Audience: Ideal for children learning disc golf, beginners, or players transitioning to more powerful throws. It's a good choice for players who struggle with heavier discs but want to reach impressive distances.

It's important to note that the Allosaurus used to be made by Gateway and was the "Journey" mold, but the 2023 version is a new mold made by Dino Discs themselves. Additionally, Dino Discs are not currently certified by the PDGA for use in sanctioned competitions, despite using established molds.
