Intended Use:The Sheriff is designed to be a multi-tool disc for players who need to combine distance with shot-shaping ability. It can be used for long anhyzers, flex shots, straight distance shots, and even pure hyzers.
Stability:It is considered a slightly understable distance driver, which means that when thrown with a hyzer (angle), it will tend to "flip up" to a flatter flight path and then finish with a predictable fade. When thrown flatter, it can achieve maximum distance with a fade at the end. While capable of handling power, it's not considered super overstable like the Dynamic Discs Enforcer.
Feel and Rim:It has a relatively flat profile with a large rim, similar in size to the Discraft Crank and feels good in the hand. The rim is 2.4 cm wide.
Plastic Types:The Sheriff is available in various plastics, including Lucid and Fuzion. Lucid plastic is known for its durability and translucence, while Fuzion offers a non-transparent blend with added grip. Lucid plastic tends to be slightly more overstable than Fuzion.
Player Skill Level:While suitable for players who can generate good arm speed, its high speed rating (13) might be too much for beginners. It is recommended for intermediate and advanced players.
Performance in different conditions:It excels in calm conditions and with a tailwind, but may turn significantly in a strong headwind.
