Battle at Eagle Valley Players Meeting

Hi all!
Thanks for joining us for a great day of disc golf!
Here is the information on each course. It is also on the scorecard. We will be using live scoring. The code is eagle24.
The Nest:
General course notes for the Nest: Road and beyond for any road that comes into play on the Nest is OB and beyond and you will play from where it last crossed in bounds with 1 penalty stroke. This includes the Gravel road on hole 15 and 16 as well as the main paved road on hole 1 and 18. It is the groups responsibility in determining if a disc is fully out of bounds and where it crossed so pay attention to each other's shots.
The only water in play on the nest is the main lake body. The lake plays at out of bounds and any shot entering the main lake body will play from where it crossed OB with 1 penalty stroke.
The nest is not even a year old yet so there is still some random pieces of very old barbwire that can still be found throughout the course. There is a little on the left side of hole 5 and in the Ditch by hole 17s basket. you may take up to 2 meters relief on the line of play no closer to the basket for any barbwire that may come into play. (again its minimal but it is out there) be mindful.
Hole 17 Mandatory: There is a single mandatory on hole 17 of the Nest. This is to protect players on the teepad of 18. if the Mandatory has been determined by the group to be missed by a player you must proceed to the dropzone with 1 penalty stroke and resume play from there.
Hole 1: Road and beyond OB
Hole 15: Road any beyond OB
Hole 16: Road and beyond OB
Hole 17: Mandatory with dropzone to protect 18's teepad
Hole 18: Road and beyond
Eagle Valley :
Eagle Valley course rules: Road is defined by the pavement edge not the gravel. please do not dig for pavement, make the call based on group decision of the pavement edge not the gravel.
Hole 1. Short of the main road and the road itself is out of bounds. There will be an established drop zone for teeshot's that do not land in bounds. If you do not land in bounds you may proceed to the dropzone with a 1 penalty stroke or play from where your disc last crossed in bounds. Also due to an access of standing water on hole 1 If your teeshot lands in the standing water you may use the dropzone without a penalty to avoid throwing from the standing water.
Hole 5: There is a trail to take to the next teepad on the left hand side of the fairway. please try to find and utilize this trail for speed of play, thank you.
Hole 6: This plays as an Island during tournament play. The Island is established by the paved road and the Gravel round that runs along the right side of the fairway. Any teeshot that does not cross in bounds may proceed to the drop zone with a 1 stroke penalty. Any tee shot that crosses the island and then goes OB may proceed to the dropzone or play from the last place the disc crossed in/out of the OB with 1 penalty stroke.
Hole 7: There is a small Pond and creek behind the basket that both play as out of bounds. If you happen to land in either one play from where it last crossed in bounds with 1 penalty stroke.
Hole 8: Road and beyond left is OB defined by the pavement edge, any shot landing out of bounds play from where it last crossed in bounds with 1 penalty stroke. Additionally the creek and pond to the right if you find yourself surrounded by water in the main creek channel or the pond your are out of bounds and must play from where you last crossed with 1 penalty throw.
Hole 9: Road and beyond is out of bounds.
Hole 12: Road and beyond is out of bounds
Hole 17: Road and beyond is out of bounds left. surrounded by water right is also out of bounds. play from where you last crossed in bounds with 1 penalty stroke or you may rethrow if OB.
Hole 18:The road and anything short of the road is considered out of bounds. Teeshots must come to rest across the road from the teepad to be considered in bounds. if your teeshot never crosses the road your options are to re-tee with a 1 stroke penalty or go to the stop zone and throw with a 1 stroke penalty. If you crossed in bounds and then subsequently go OB you may take your lie where you were last in bounds.
I will have this posted on our website, http://www.basketcasedg.com also.
If you have a question, play a provisional. Easier to err on the side of caution!!!
Hole assignments will be published very shortly and can be found on
Can't wait to see you in the morning!!
